Is there a deposit for establishing new service?
No, we do not charge a deposit.  We do ask for the initial hookup charge and the first month’s service at the time we start your service.

If I move, is it possible to have service at both addresses for awhile?
Yes, you will pay the per-day charge for both addresses.  It is very inexpensive, especially if it is not for an extended period of time.

Does it cost more to have Cable TV in more than one room in my house?
There is not an additional charge to have Basic Cable TV on more than one TV in your home.  If you have Expanded Basic Cable TV there is an additional $5.00 charge for each converter and remote that is needed.

What are the internet speeds that Jefferson Telephone & Cablevision offers?
- Dial up internet is up to 56k
- ISDN account is up to 128k
- High speed internet is up to 5 Mbps for residential
- High speed internet is up to 8 Mbps for businesses
- Direct Connect is up to T1

Can I pay my phone bill with a debit card or online?
At this time we do not have that capability.
